Mediation

Mediation is a process where parties meet with a mutually selected impartial and neutral person (mediator) who assists in negotiation of their differences. You will often hear judges tell you "the best solution or resolution is one that the parties come up with themselves." This is the reason so many courts, especially the Augusta Judicial Circuit, order parties to mediate their case before scheduling a final hearing or trial on the matter. Mukti Patel is a certified and registered mediator. She is qualified to mediate general civil matters, domestic relations matters, and domestic violence cases.
